RN license renewal time! For those of you who need to renew your RN license this year the time is short. Your license now expired the end of June on the year of renewal, instead of your birthday. Go to the Arizona Board of Nursing webpage  and follow the link to My Services. It's easy and takes about 10-15 minutes. After paying for your renewal via credit card you must fax a document providing proof of citizenship to 602-889-5155, along with your CRNA recirtification card to maintain your prescription privileges.

ABOUT THE AzANA

The AzANA is the professional organization representing Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) throughout Arizona. A CRNA is a nurse with a specialized degree in anesthesia. CRNAs have been providing anesthesia in the United States for over 125 years. We work in traditional hospital operating rooms and obstetrical suites, and in the offices of dentists, opthamologists and podiatrists across the country. CRNAs provide over 27 million anesthetics annually and are the main anesthesia providers in Rural America and the US Military. We work independantly and in conjunction with physicians, surgeons, and dentists. Anesthesia is 50 times safer today than just 20 years ago, and numerous studies have demonstrated there is no difference in the quality of care delivered by a CRNA and an anesthesiologist.

Arizona is home to over 250 CRNAs. We are pleased to provide quality anesthesia to the people of this state and look forward to helping comfort you in your time of need.
